Screenwriting
Colin’s first film that he Wrote, Choreographed, and Produced, November Ninth, is currently in post-production. Inspired by true events, it tells the story of a man with dwarfism who’s assaulted on the night after the 2016 election. He currently has 3 short film screenplays that are being shopped around and afeature length script that is being submitted for various grants and competitions. Choreography
Colin’s first experience as a writer was creating fight choreography on stage and screen. His film credits include Tomorrow’s Today, Monsters Big & Small, and November Ninth. His objective as a fight choreographer is to create fights and confontations that authentically incorporate a director’s vision and are accurate to a character’s experience, emotion, and knowledge.
Consulting
Colin has consulted on a feature animated film, title TBA, and a few independent films as well in the capacity of disability inclusion and representation. His work analyses the portrayal of disability on screen and offers recommendations for how to improve or alter it to add nuance or consider alternate perspectives.
